Richard West Jr. (Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma), Founding Director Emeritus of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), will be honored at the Jacobson Foundation’s Pony Moon Gala on Sept. 20, 2008, at the luxurious Grand Ballroom of the newly restored Skirvin Hilton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. The ticketed event begins with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and includes live entertainment, and a silent and live auction. Tickets are $150 and are available at the Jacobson House Native Art Center in Norman.
